The Sustainable Event Summit 2025: This year, we’re taking a strategic pause from our annual Summit to dedicate our full attention to the launch of the third edition of The Show Must Go On report and its associated Climate Transition Plan for the UK Live Events Industry.
The Show Must Go On (SMGO) represents a collaborative effort across the UK’s outdoor live events industry to achieve insight on current sustainability practices and environmental impacts, and align on climate strategy to 2030.
SMGO launch: Set to launch this November 2025, SMGO will provide industry benchmarks in key areas of environmental impact, model the reductions that can be achieved by certain measures, and present an evidence-based approach to ask the government for policy support for sustainability practices at UK events.
